Thanks, Fred! Your early posting regarding SotC numbers on Livejournal is one of the reasons we chose to publish Diaspora in the first place. Not because it looked like we’d make a fortune but because we had a feel then for what an “audience” looked like that reached the number of people I knew, face-to-face, who’d made contact with the game. It made me think that it was “worth it”. That if we hit a tenth the sales, we’d have still reached some people.
